Sold to researchers, for research.
BlackLabs products are chemical reagents for in-vitro and laboratory research. They are not drugs, supplements, or cosmetics, and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.
Buyers must be 21 or older and confirm research use at checkout. We don't provide dosing, administration, or usage guidance, and we cancel orders that indicate personal use.
The catalog
Every compound shows its current lot and the lab reports posted for it.
Certificates of analysis
Every report we've published, current and past. Search by compound or by the lot number printed on your vial.
Last batch COAs
Reports from Janoshik Analytical, an independent lab, on our supplier's recent batches. Other buyers of the same supplier commissioned them, and we redacted supplier details. Each card shows the batch that was tested.
Independent tests
Tests we commission on sealed vials pulled from our own inventory, published unedited. Our first round is scheduled.
Thanks. We've got it from here.
How we test
Here's how documentation works at BlackLabs today, and what's coming next.
- 01
Inventory received
Each incoming order from our supplier gets a BlackLabs lot number, printed on every vial.
- 02
Third-party report posted
Independent lab reports on our supplier's batches go on the product page, with supplier details redacted.
- 03
Our own test
Sealed vials from our own stock go to an outside lab for purity, identity, and content. Our first round is scheduled.
- 04
Results published
The lab's original report goes on the COA page, unedited, as soon as it's back.
- 05
Confirmed or pulled
A lot that doesn't meet our specs is pulled from sale.
What an independent report includes
What we'll ask the outside lab to report for each lot we test.
HPLC purity
The chromatogram itself, with the main peak's share of total area. We're aiming for 98% or higher.
Mass confirmation
Measured mass by ESI-MS against the theoretical mass, confirming the right molecule.
Net content
Measured milligrams of peptide in the vial, so you know it matches the label.
Named laboratory
The lab that ran the test is named on the report.
Lot and date
Tied to the exact lot number printed on your vial, with the test date.
Unedited original
The lab's own PDF, not a summary we typed up.
Research library
How to read the documentation, plus reference data for each compound.
How to read an HPLC chromatogram
What the main peak, retention time, and impurity peaks tell you.
What mass spec confirms, and what it doesn't
Identity versus purity, and why a good COA needs both.
Purity versus net peptide content
Why a 99% pure vial can still hold less than its label weight.
Storing lyophilized peptides
Temperature, light, and moisture handling for reagent stability.
Compound reference data
Contents, form, and storage on every product page.
